Defining Permissions in Prompt Insight
Permissions determine what features users can access within the Prompt Insight Platform. Not all organizations will have access to all of these features, and so some of these permissions may not be visible in your admin panel. The following tables define the various permissions that could be enabled for you to configure for your users. Permissions are managed within the Roles section in the admin dashboard.
The "Make Superuser" permission overrides all scopes and gives access to ALL data in the platform, both clinical data (if they have Prompt Insight), and admin/usage metrics data
Permissions - Admin
| Permission (Products) | Definition |
| Make Super User | This permission overrides all scopes and provides access to all data in the platform. This grants access to both clinical data and admin/usage metrics data. Typically this permission is reserved for the leadership roles within the organization. |
| Access Self-Serve Admin | This allows the user to see the admin panel in the Prompt Insight platform, which gives the user the ability to modify/create roles and users for the organization. This permission gives access to provider data that has been explicitly added to scopes on your roles. |
Permissions – Prompt Insight Visibility
| Permission (Products) | Definition |
Access Prompt Insight Dashboard |
Allows users to see their data and interact with the Prompt Insight Platform. This permission will be disabled for Sidekick-only users. |
| Access Other Providers’ Data | By default, users in the platform only have access to the provider data associated with their user account. This permission will allow users to see data from more providers within your organization. The scope of the data the user will have access to is determined by the Scopes on the Roles assigned to the user. |
| Access CPT Insights Page | This allows the user to access the CPT Insights page in the Prompt Insight platform. |
| Access Coding Efficiency Page | This allows the user to access the Coding Efficiency page in the Prompt Insight platform. |
Permissions – Compliance
| Permission (Products) | Definition |
| View Note Details | Allows users to view detailed breakdowns of individual notes. |
| View Top/Bottom Scoring Notes with Compliance | Allows users to view the top and bottom five notes for individual compliance categories. These notes are accessed by clicking on individual scores in the Detailed Provider Scores page. |
| View All Notes With Compliance | Gives users who have access to the Top/Bottom scoring notes to also see the list of all notes within an individual compliance category. This permission is designed for a senior leadership role instead of individual providers. |
Permissions – Sidekick Browser Extension
| Permission | Definition |
| Access Real Time CPT Insights in Sidekick | This enables the Sidekick user to have access to Realtime CPT insights suggestions using the Browser extension. |
| Access Note Content Suggestions in Sidekick | This enables the Sidekick user to access suggestions based on existing content within the note using the Browser extension in supported EMRs. |
| Access Audio Services in Sidekick | This enables the Sidekick user to access suggestions based on audio recordings (Auto-Note and Dictation) using the Browser extension. |
| Access AskAI in Sidekick | This enables the Sidekick user to ask questions using the AskAI while using the Browser extension. |
Permissions – EMR Embedded Sidekick
| Permission | Definition |
| Access Real Time CPT Insights in EMR | This enables the Sidekick user to have access to Realtime CPT insights suggestions inside supported EMRs without the Browser extension. Today, this is live for our clients using Prompt EMR. |
