Getting Started with Sidekick in Prompt

How Native Sidekick Works

If your organization has the Sidekick Integration/API key active, and you have an account with Sidekick access, Native Sidekick will automatically appear the next time you load Prompt — even if you haven't installed the Chrome extension.

This means:

  • All users with valid Sidekick accounts in an integrated org will see Sidekick appear.
  • Some users may see Sidekick even if they haven’t personally set it up — it appears automatically based on if they have a Sidekick account under their Prompt email, regardless of if they have installed the Chrome extension and used it in the past.
  • NOTE: Sidekick user emails must match the email used in Prompt for users to access Native Sidekick.

What Happens When It’s Activated

When Native Sidekick is enabled for your organization and your account is set up:

  1. The next time you load a Prompt page, Sidekick will appear automatically.
  2. The first time it loads, it will "pop open" to display the welcome and onboarding flow, as shown below:

  1. Sidekick will continue to “pop open” once every two days until you accept the Terms & Conditions.

  2. After accepting the Terms and Conditions:
    • The welcome flow will no longer pop up.
    • You'll be automatically logged in.
    • Sidekick will function as usual.

If the welcome flow doesn't pop up, you can still access it at any time by clicking the Sidekick icon.

Even though Sidekick is now more accessible than ever, your organization’s admin still has full control. If someone isn’t using Sidekick and would prefer not to see the widget, the admin can either remove their Sidekick permissions or delete their account in the Admin panel on intel.predictionhealth.com  to fully disable access.
